Thoughts: Raven’s Home S01E04

I’m loving how this show gets better week after week.

This time we get a lot of hilarious scenes thanks to the amazing Raven, Chelsea and all the cast is actually pretty great.

Now that Devon had to live in Texas, the children are sad and Raven tries and obviously fails, to take dad’s place, giving us one of the most important lines in the episode: It’s OK to be sad.

This is a line that a lot of shows used on their plot for one of the episodes, but it never gets old because we need to be reminded of that a lot. Sadness is healthy, sadness means we are healing.

Chelsea and his son Levi are another reason to look forward, their relationship is hilarious and adorable. Chelsea could easily become just a silly character who happens to have a child and doesn’t know what to do with it, but we saw that she cares for him, she tries, and Levi knows that, and tries to help her. It’s honestly really beautiful to watch.

Scenes to look forward to: All the dances moves Raven does, that women still have it.
Episode rating: SO GOOD – 5/5
Favourite character: It’s hard, I really loved all of this time.

Three words: Boyz N Motion

Thoughts: Marvel’s Iron Fist S01E08

Oh my God. It was so so bad. I mean, I was giving Iron Fist the chance, I swear. Claire Temple is on it, it’s Marvel. But boy, this episode was so so bad.

I keep watching this because I want to understand Defenders. I keep watching this because we got to see some hints about the other Marvel heroes, and right there’s nothing Marvel to watch on tv. And I need my Marvel dose.

The fight with the drunk guy was awful, ridiculous to a level that I cannot forgive. There’s is only two ways this fight could’ve work 1) if this was anime or 2) if you are freaking Jackie Chan, otherwise it’s plain ridiculous.

Even the writers are ruining Claire, a character so beautiful to see, so easy to love.

Iron Fist is getting worse and worse. I’m starting to understand why the critics hated so much.

Scenes to look forward to: Ward in all his scenes is just spectacular.
Episode rating: BAD – 1/5
Favourite character: Ward is just the psychopath I would fall in love

Thoughts: Marvel’s Iron Fist S01E07

Seven episode and I have this idea that if Claire isn’t in it, I won’t like 😂

This show is very unstable because there can be really good episodes, and others like this one that aren’t so much.

I’ve been trying to decide between Claire and Ward as my favourite characters, and in this episode Ward got a great performance. I’ve been waiting for it to happen, Ward was going to snap at some point and it happened now and it was really intense to watch.

Although I’m sad we aren’t going to get to see Joy as daddy’s killing machine. I’m pretty sure she would have been a more proactive puppet for Harold. But with the board taking her company from her, who knows what she’ll do. I’m looking forward to that.

Scenes to look forward to: Ward killing the living shit out of his dad, so satisfying
Episode rating: SO SO – 2.5/5
Favourite character: Ward Meachun

Thoughts: Midnight, Texas S01E03

In this third episode, friends from the past of Lem come to Midnight causing the predictable mayhem.

Si this episode I would call it: predictable. It was so obvious that poison was going to be in the drink. You just know those guys were bad.

We got more information about what it is to be a vampire on the Midnight, Texas, although becoming a vampire was anticlimatic AF. Way to easy, maybe I just read a lot of vampire books, but the vampire transformation is always something to look for, this time was not the case. However I gave them points for not having a vampire hierarchy and avoid unnecessary drama.

I liked how Fiji and Bobo find a solution to the vampire infestation with a simple thing, I’m not gonna lie that was a little bizarre, but was a good bizarre, I guess.

Scenes to look forward to: Mr. Snuggles appears and talks and it’s awesome.
Episode rating: IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER – 3/5
Favourite character: Olivia, she’s badass and beautiful and takes no shit

Great minds worry alike
